District Kids Yoga is designed for children ages 9–14.
Not at all. Classes are welcoming to beginners as well as children who have practiced yoga before.
Yes. Yoga can help improve flexibility, mobility, balance, body awareness, focus, and recovery for athletes in many sports.
Yes. These classes are for all kids, including those looking for a calm, positive space to move, build confidence, and feel good.
Comfortable athletic clothing that allows for easy movement. Bare feet are encouraged during class.
Please bring a water bottle. We provide yoga mats and all class equipment.
Our curriculum is designed by Meghan Rosenberg, PT, DPT, a pediatric physical therapist with nearly two decades of experience helping children move better and develop healthy movement patterns. Classes are capped at 8 students for individualized attention.
Parents are welcome to wait nearby, but children typically participate independently to encourage confidence and focus.
Please share any injuries or medical concerns during registration so we can help make the class a positive experience.
Classes are generally held on the third Saturday of each month, with 9:00–9:45 AM and 10:00–10:45 AM sessions. Dates may occasionally change.
